High tension strings

I'm looking for string with a high tension, that are prefferably bright, or semi-bright.

i wanna start playing more songs from death metal bands, and other songs that have lower tunings. but my old strings are too floppy for it. so which are the best?

It depends on how far you want to down tune, i use Rotosound 66 stainless steel roundwounds. gauge 50-110 and i can tune down to BEAD with only a little floppiness, but i like the low tension. CGCF is playable if you play at the neck.

are extremely high tension, stiff, and very very durable. I used to break DR's (which I love) all the time; since getting a couple of MTD basses, and using his strings, I have only broken 2 C strings on y 635's, and they were both VERY old strings, recycled twice (alcohol soak).

Cheers,
Cameron
