High voltage "800v" capable, budget el34?

The load impedance of tubes strongly depends on the anode voltage. The higher the voltage, the larger the impedance. At 750-800 V on the anodes of a PAIR, a load of 8-10kOhms is needed, otherwise currents will become too large. Hence the 4 kOhms for 4 EL34 in PP are ok. You might have a look at the example section of the EL34 spec sheet by Telefunken, where the 800-V design has originally been published.

When i restored the Gigant of our former keyboarder, i was using 4 new Svetlanas, but i was careful and kept the anode voltage on the safe side (voltage selector 240V for 230 V from the wall).

My G-2000 and the Eminents still use old tubes; my Eminents with their slightly lower anode voltage design are run in the 220 V position, but in the G-2000 i am not as brave and stay with the safer 240-V setting.

I would like to come in contact with Beate if possible , I own about 10 tube Echolettes and same amount of Dynacords , I have a Gigant on the side for restoration , I love the 80 watts chassis from the EminentII and the Favorit and others built on the same chassis .. I am 75 and about 65 years busy tubeamp building .. and a specilalist in old Hammond tonewheels from 1935 till 1970 . .. I have built lots of special amps and like Faylon 200 watt amps running the 4 x EL503 converting to EL504 .. results more power 250 watts rms ! and OPT connections one step lower means 4 ohms speakercabs ( 2 parallel JBL 8 ohms in the old 215 from JBL - Harman Kardon) on the 8 ohms output ! .. Beate ? .... still active ???

I have the 80 watts chassis from dynacord running on 6550winged C from Harmonix and they give a strong bass , no problems with them , I used the opt for a custom leslie amp runnin at 840 volts with a set of EH KT90 idle at 20 mA ( taking some 16 watts in the tube) and the g2 at half from the 840 /2 = 420 volts with 1 K resistir doing very fine plenty over 120 watts maximum musicpower around 220 watts (45 volts over powerbench at 8 ohm ) pure overdriven saturated tubes, ( HT Caps is 2 x serie 560mF at 450 volts each with 220k bleeders )
