Hipshot D-Tuner

Its very easy to use. Tune to E, flip the switch, adjust the screw so that its tuned to D (or whichever note you wish it to be), flip the switch and its back to E. It came on my bass when I bought it used and at first I thought that I'd never use it, but I've actually found it very useful. I've found some bass parts to be played easier in drop D, and I've also come up with parts that I never would have in E. Its pretty inexpensive, and if you want to resell your bass, you can always just take it off.
