HipShot Drop Tuner on a Ric 4003

Fits and works amazingly on my 2012 4003FG and cannot tell any difference from the front. I actually cannot believe how well it works. I've used HS Xtenders for years on my Fenders and always seemed to stubble with calibration and the E returning sharp caveat. I used to have to spend like 5 minutes recalibrating before gigs/rehearsal. The BT5 is like a rock. Highly recommended... as long as it will fit your model year.

hi
this is the back of the headstock of my 91 4003
will the Hipshot BT5 will fit my Ric?

thanks.

I know this thread is an old one, but I'm curious if the situation has changed regarding Hipshot's Bass Xtender offerings for Rickenbackers. The HE6 - 3/8 appears to still be available as of this writing, although it's more expensive than the Xtender that I bought for my Fender bass.

I don't think anything has changed. It hadn't as of a few months ago when I asked them.
