Hipshot raised lever xtender for stingray 5

Hello TalkBass!

I just recently bought a stingray 5 off of a guy on here! However, I play some songs that require drop d for the open string "spam" for lack of a better term.

Does anyone know where I could find a raised lever xtender or another product like it? I have emailed hipshot and all I got was that they no longer manufactur them.

If anyone happens to have one, I'd be willing to buy it off them!

Hi there, I'm trying to find a way to put my Hipshot BT7 Xtender on the E-string of my SUB Ray5! Did you ever find a way to get this to work? I'm thinking about trying to see if someone can cut, rotate, and weld it back or whatever; so it clears the B string tuning hardware. My other thought was to just cut the lever shorter and cap it with something so it's not sharp on the end. Would be a little harder to grab, but may clear the hardware.

I even looked at some Ibanez and ESP 5 strings, but I don't think the GB7 Xtender would fit on the headstock.

I never found a solution, just seem to continue to play drop d songs on my B string. Detuning can be a pain in the ass.
