Yes, 16.5mm, the 5 is 19mm.

As will I; awesome basses. I've owned a lot of boutique axes and I really can't see the reason to spend more on the structure at least PUs ans pres can be changed easily and reasonably cost wise if you have a particular preference.

I had bought the 846 prior to the Spector, but sent it back because while the fit and finish were great, they completely, and I mean thoroughly, dropped the ball on the pickups and preamp. Lifeless. Flabby. Unfocused. I mean, you CAN change out pre's and pups, but at that price point...why should you have to? So disappointing. Oh well- the experience introduced me to Spector, and I think the Dimension NS is a winner!
