hmmm. Ernie Ball MM SR 4 H

Tried out one of these in GC yesterday. Black Sugar finish, Ebony fingerboard, Roasted Maple, one of the Ball Family Reserve jobbies.

Now I am a P bass guy through and through (I have two custom shop Ps and a '62 AVRI), but man, this thing was beautiful. Amazing workmanship, fantastic set-up. beautiful tone. Fighting the GAS... Only thing I didn't like was that 12th fret logo.

I have read some downers about the MM SR, but this thing absolutely sang. Also, I felt it was very versatile indeed. Fab piece of workmanship.
