Hobbies... what do you do in your spare time?

Provided that you HAVE spare time, what type of hobbies do you fill that spare time with?

I have more hobbies than I have spare time, or room for... Photography, lapidary, reading, sketching, digital media, websites, collecting pc hardware oddities, costume making (or at least attempting to make costumes using advanced materials), model railroading, model building, etc...

Kinda difficult to find time for all of them, so I end up rotating between them as I see fit. I'm always adding new hobbies to the list (which usually incurs more expenses and time).

So list your hobbies... This should be interesting.

I spend my free time playing golf and brewing beer. If one considers reading (other than golf, bass, and brewing literature) a hobby, then I'll say that too, but more during the winter months when I can't get outside.

Too many to list em all. Highlights include: playing other instruments, brewing beer, christian ministry, american sign language, snow and skate -boarding, motorcycling, bicycling, computers, movies, reading, golf, hockey, working on cars, red wine, single malt scotch, hiking, camping, hunting, and napping.

I bike with my Son. I shoot lots of goofy footage and assemble movies that I score musically, and then make DVD's for the family (modern "silent" movies, complete with in-betweener cue cards and such, funny. ). I draw with charcoals. I do love my home improvements. I dabble in cooking. And baseball. Lots of baseball. Watch lots of movies (hate t.v., love home theater)

I like to skateboard still, I say still because I have been skating for 29 years. I'm 38 now.

One other thing I do is motorcycle observed trials. Its a pretty obscure sport, but basically I ride a motorcycle through short, very technical sections that are about 45 seconds long. The object is to get through the section without putting your feet down. Each time you do you get a point. Low score wins, like golf.

Here's a short video of some riding.

Are you a sub par rider?
btw, I'm still skateboarding at age 35. I don't seem to bounce quite like I used to though.

I ride in the advanced class, but the difference between what I do and what a Pro level rider can do is exOpnential. Those guys are unbelieveable.

As far as skating...I keep it low and slow now. Not a whole lot of vert and if I do hit the park I play on mini ramps mostly. I recently got a Sector 9 longboard and have been cruising the bike paths....it's fun.

L-A... I have an older(2005) Zoo Pitbull that I play around on. Bike trials is a blast....I just wish more people did it.
