Hofner Club Bass

I've been looking around for a bass to play Beatlsey stuff. I like the idea of the Ignition series Club Bass. It's not too expensive, looks neat, and it's a Hofner.Does anyone have any experience with these or have any other suggestions?

I have an Ignition violin bass and it sounds pretty good (flats an absolute necessity!!), so I would imagine you'd be pretty happy with the Club. It might even sound better because of the body size.

I got an ignition violin as well and it's great with Labella's Beatle bass flats.I liked it better actually than the CT version because it was more thumpy.The club bass is pretty cool as well and is basically the same bass with the exception of the body style.Same neck,pick ups,scale,wiring and switches.I'd think the body style would give it a little deeper sound though.

Ignition Club Bass owner here - love that little critter!
So much fun to play, and a very grown-up Sound (TI Jazz flats). Good looking and well made, too. Can´t go wrong for the price!

Also curious bout the club!! Super sexy shape. Sophisticated, but I wouldn't feel guilty for punk rocking on it. Loved the pups on my violin bass and to my knowledge these are the same. These things love a nice od too
