Hofner Icon Best "Cheap" strings?

I have a Hofner Icon and wanted to change quickly to flats. I know the LaBella and the Hofner flats are highly recommended but pricey. Anything "suitable" which is more economical?

LaBella are the cheapest of the lot, I think. Around $40. Consider that you might not have to change them very often.

I have Rotosound RS-77M Monel Flatwounds on my Icon. They can be bought for under $30 at Just Strings and elsewhere. Just make sure you use the medium scale (M) length.

+1 on the RS77's. In the past I've used them on a P. They're toney and evenly balanced.
