I was served up the same ad on Facebook for a black Icon Club. Just what I was looking for - but the Hello Music site says definitely no returns on used merchandise. Should I be concerned? The guitar itself is getting positive reviews here on TB.

Used? That bass should be new they have a return policy on the new stuff it may be the vintage stuff that has no return

I placed my order for the Hofner Club on 2/28 and received it today (3/05) - 4 day turnaround time! Now I'm trying to figure out if there is anything I need to do to setup since this is my first new bass guitar. I've order new LaBella strings but they won't arrive for another week.

Anything else I need to do before picking and playing the Icon Club?

I hear they come from the factory pretty much ready to go if you take it somewhere make sure they have experience with a floating bridge not everyone can set these up.

I ordered some flats for it last night. It would have arrived today, but I had a little emergency and had to leave the house so I couldn't sign for it. Looking forward to getting my hands on it tomorrow.

wow! that's fast. where did you order them from?

She is here and she sure is "purty" beautiful shape no scratches but there is something rattling around inside I'll have to get it out of there everything works so could be an extra piece of something not bad since it travelled from the Peoples Republic plays nice stock strings sound good I have Labella Beatle Flats on my CT but I may put rounds on this one until then the stock strings are decent people don't give stock strings a chance to break in before they change them.

I think they are all made in Indonesia now so perhaps one is older than the other. Or maybe they split where they are made. Who knows.

That's what I was asking...every Icon I've seen (including mine) is MI Indonesia. I'm wondering if Hofner transferred production...
