Thought I'd start a thread where we can share gear related deals related to Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the Christmas season in general.

Please provide:

Long-time lurker and first-time poster, but I just wanted to let y'all know that I called CME to ask about adding a discounted amp to one of these basses. The amp deal didn't work out, but I did discover that if you open a Synchrony account through them to finance the bass and then actually purchase the bass the same day, you'll also get a $100 Visa gift card through a rebate, which basically brings the cost of the Mustang PJ down to $375.

I didn't see this gift card deal on the website, so I thought I'd let you know that it's worth calling in. I'm getting one of the Sherwood Green Mustangs!

Quick update--this does, in fact, work. I got the Sherwood Green Mustang PJ for $474.99 plus tax with free shipping last night ($508 total with Indiana sales tax), PLUS the forms to complete the rebate for a $100 Visa gift card. So, really, $408 for the Mustang out the door.

Also, I worked over the phone and via email with Scott in the CME BASSment to get the purchase completed. I highly recommend giving him a call if you're interested in this deal.

NBD (my first!) is Wednesday!
