Picked up a barely used stingray classic recently. Very impressed. KILLER looks with a maple birdseye neck, black with white pickguard and white pu cover - looks tough as nails. The neck is not thin but it is VERY fast with low action.
I really like the 2 band eq, just simpler and less to mess with. And the tones of course. One can do a great deal of tone variation with putting the volume, bass, and treble in different spots. And it is light to boot.
Been passive for years and still like it, but this is a good change.
