Home Rehearsal HELP!

I went with a simple headphones set up in my 12' x16' studio. I already had a set of e-Drums I found on CL a few years back. I use the regular PA mixer and set up like a regular practice and just leave the power amp turned off. The headphone is a Behringer, 2 4 port headphone amps daisy chained together. It's not Carnegie Hall sound quality, but it's very functional. At the end of the night I don't walk out with my ears ringing. I can also run the mixer channels out to my DAW and get a decent recording without a lot of work. One of my to-do projects is to build a 1x12 dead box for guitar amps, while there are lots of "line out" options out there - a real mic'd amp is hard to match.

Cheers and good luck...
