Hi guys,

Straight off the bat sorry if this is in the wrong section!

I am just starting to get back into playing after a bit of time, I am just wondering what sort of setup people use just for messing around at home sat at a table playing along with songs etc?

I don’t want to have to get an amp out everytime I want to play. I have been using some Vox bass headphones but feel like I want to go a step further.

Unless you already have a computer with decent-sounding monitors sitting on that table, the next step further IS an amp.

I haven't looked into any in years, but the check out what might be around by Allen & Heath, Mackie, and Soundcraft, possibly.

I use a Peavey 10 channel mixer connected to my bass and computer... I use earphones to play along with Youtube videos. I live in a condo so I don't use my amp for practice.
