    Hi everyone,

I have 4 projects in the making of my mind. Two are custom builds of a gibson ripper (one natural wood and the other is black) One replicates the gibson G3 (natural) and last will be a junior ripper (smaller body size, bolt neck, V,V,T, 3way selector.)
    My concerns are the following:
What pickups would be a good fit for my Gibson G3 project? and What pots should i get the signature ripper sound? Keep in mind the ripper had one master volume, midrange control and treble control + the chicken switch.

Also, I'm using seymour duncan ripper pickups and precision/jazz pickups for junior ripper.

I was just going to suggest the seymour duncan ripper pickups but I see you already are going to use them. They're expensive, I was thinking of getting some for a restoration project but decided to rewind the originals said. Back to your original question... if I were you I'd just stick bartolinis in there.

I don't like bartolinis so much. Besides, i'd like to get an actual pickguard, minus the junior model, for each bass.
