Honest, knowledgeable Amp Repair in LA/OC?

Hey Guys,

I live in Long Beach, California, and i've got a GK 1001rb that has some powering issues...my usual mechanic down the street says it has to be with the power unit, it was blowing the tweeter on my old GK cab and now it just doesn't do high frequencies very well. Anyway, my guy is booked up right now and it'll take him too long to get it fixed, so I'm looking for a amp repair specialist, preferably an independent guy because I got burned at this one place with outrageous bench fees...wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for repair in the LA/Long Beach/OC area?

These guys are pretty far north from you, but they are great. I've had several amps modded or repaired and the ev always done an excellent job: http://www.arsrepair.com .

They are an authorized service center for pretty much every brand.

Both are nerd-genius types, both charge reasonably.

If it's tube amps, you want Bob Dixon, "Amphole". Not cheap, but he's the best.
