Honest opinion

Can some one give me an honest opinion on a Kuston Groove 1200 amp? I've done a search but did not get enuff info. And also, What side effects would there be to bypassing the crossover in a avatar 4x10 neo? I.E. going straight from jack to spkrs? Would this improve the sound quality. I do not use the tweet.

Hi Tony,
Just a suggestion, maybe change the title of your thread to something like "Honest opinions of the Kustom Groove 1200?"... "Honest opinion" by itself won't draw in the rubes. Same goes for the Avatar X-over. Good luck! :)

I saw that amp in BAss Player and thought "That s might be a wicked amp!". A music store near me wanted to bring something big but cheap, and i suggested Kustom. Well they got Kustom and i had a chance to test it for a while.
Didnt liked it but at the same time didnt disliked it! Its sure a good buy for the power, but the tone has not something special to say. Except maybe if you have anything else in your rack to fix better your tone, and maybe if you have a really good expensive bass guitar.
To get a better picture of the sound i would say its more like a SWR amp, only more hi fi and more thiner sounding. If you want more warm tone and fat bottom move away.
