Ok, So i have an Ampeg SVT 4 Pro (1600 watts 4ohms), an aguilar 410 cab (700watts 4ohms) and a Peavey 2-12 cab (900watts 8ohms). My question is can i safely hook both cabs up without breaking anything?!! And if so what is the best way to do it?
4 ohms and 8 ohms in parallel results in a load of 2.666666.... ohms. The minimum load in bridge mode is 4 ohms, so you can't run both cabs in bridge mode.
When run in dual mono, each output is good down to 2 ohms.
This shows the 4 ohm cab will receive 625W max/490W continuous and the 8 ohm cab will receive 350W max/ 300W continuous. Totals: 975W max/790W continuous
