Oh BTW lenny... Imma keepin your card in my wallet cause my dad's friend has friends who are looking for a bassist for their bands. And normally they are pretty popular in houston so next time someone asks I'll give em your card.

TommyGun - I can't quite make out what he has there though. Folks - this guy has some chops. That's all I'm gonna say. Picks, fingers, slap, etc.

There is some background on this particular bass, but will have to let others fill in. I cannot quite remember the history...
No real great story on this bass other than the shop I bought it from had just replaced the tuners on it and sold it to me for $75.00 soon afterwards.
It is a Squier II from 1989,and as Tommy pointed out,the body is nothing great.The neck plays very well and will probably end up on a Allparts or Warmoth body in the next couple of years.
I brought it out because I put a Fender Original '62 replacement pickup in it and I knew there were a couple of guys that had asked about that pickup before.
Looking forward to more pics!

It was a fairly well organized and nice afternoon. I wish more people would attend it, but their loss.

I only recently just setup a free Photobucket account in order to post the pics I took at the GTG. I managed to figure it out pretty easily and you don't have to worry about space usage when using it. With photobucket you are only using the space required for a 'link' and not the bits of the actual photo so you won't need to be a supporting member.
When you are in photobucket, just look for the spot that says something like when you are ready to copy from photobucket to a TB posting. This will make better sense when you get inside photobucket. In TB, there is a sticky somewhere about how to post pics, but I don't remember exactly where I saw that...
I can help out, but I guess you would need to mail me the pics as my email would not handle the size of the pics I am sure. PM if you would like to just mail me a CD or somethin...
Say...., I could also drop by your bar tonight if you are there for your regular Wednesday night blues jam. I can bring my netbook and just copy the pics off your flashdrive. I am assuming you have the pics on a flashdrive?.
Come to think of it, I could have gotten a copy from Ed at his Tuesday night gig which is 3 minutes from my place. oh well...:atoz:
