Perfectly normal behavior as far as I am concerned. The missus asks can't you sell some basses? I tell her she can sell 'em all when I die. G.A.S. away brother!

As long as you can afford it, what’s to say? But let me add, you’d better be dang sure you can. If you have not met with a financial planner, you need to spend some time with one before you buy your next bass. If you already have a active relationship with one, great, your one of the few, but still, get his input before the one. OK?

This is just a backup for the backup times two. That seems like a good problem to have. The only obvious omission is not having a couple of P types throwing in your bullpen. Edit: I see them now and that they're getting work in your farm system. Sweet.

That’s the one or two or three more that this collection obviously needs.

Yep clearly needs several P-basses, and of course PJ. And further more obviously some horizons need broadened here. I mean how about 5 strings, how about 6 strings and why don't you have versions of them all in fretless? And even worse look at those pickups all the same! Why do none of those basses have Nordy big singles or the like? There is so much more to learn out there.

Hey, in my Jazz bass collection I actually have three identical 6 string Jazz basses, one with rounds, one with flats, and one fretless. Get the picture? ;)

TB, always happy to enable!

Beautiful basses for sure! But to address your question regarding “need”, you really only need 2 four string Jazz basses: 1 passive and 1 active. I had one of each (Fender), but now I only have the active one. That’s the only four string Fender Jazz I need. It’s a Fender Suhr and I honestly believe I’d have a hard time finding another Fender that sounds as good or better than it does.

Yes, your Fender Suhr is one of the best basses I've ever heard!
If I owned that bass, I would not need another j-bass.
Your Fender Suhr is priceless! :hyper::bassist::hyper:drool
