Hovercraft Amps

I just learned of this amp (re)builder last night. Upcycled tube amps? So far it appears to be guitar heads, but I emailed him and he said he could build one tailored to bass. The fact that he's in my neck of the woods makes me even more curious. Some of the sound clips (on youtube) sound pretty nice.

Anybody have any experience with these amps? Thoughts?

I heard back from him and he said he has a lot of requests coming in for bass heads and that he should have some up on FB and his website soon. I don't know if it was specific to what I was asking about, but he said that he could probably get his heads to put out about 125+ watts. A bit pricier than the guitar heads...
Definitely interested to hear some sound clips!

+1 I just talked to my amp tech the other day about building a single channel 100 watt head. Basically re-creating my '77 bassman 100 in a smaller box, single channel format. Travis (my tech) thought that by using a ultra-linier (?) transformer, he could get around 120+ watts out of the thing.
