How are your pockets organized?

Right front: Blackberry, earplugs or headphones, mic and 1/4"-mini adaptor (depending on the situation)

Left front: iPod Touch (for personal use as well as audio diagnostics - I'm an audio-visual tech)

Right back: Wallet

Left back: Nothing

I also occasionally carry a Swiss Army messenger bag with my laptop, book(s) and/or my Bible in it, and when I bike into work, I have a bunch of extra clothes stuff in my backpack.

I carry my keys either on a carabiner on my belt loop or in one of the pockets of whichever bag I'm carrying.

I've tried the wallet in the back pocket thing, it doesn't work for me..
:confused: How do you guys manage it? It's like I'm leaning to one side? (even if there's not much in there, which their usually isn't)

front right: Keys and Chapstick. also Pens/Pencils if I have them.

Front Left: Blackberry and loose change if any.

Back Right: Wallet, and any receipts I have from that day that I forget about.

Back Left: Nothing, unless I have a hole in my back right. Then all the above crap is moved to the left pocket.

there are a lot of wallets in back right pockets, so im going to go ahead and associate that with being right handed. statistically, that makes sense. personally, i am right handed, but wore my watch on my right hand when i wore one, and put my wallet in my back left whenever i use my back pockets. i know my watch on the dominant hand isnt the most common choice, so i wonder if its the same with wallets. its all about subconsciously choosing an auxiliary hand to hold a phone while you open a door, etc, and it seems to be consistent (at least as far as my experience [in retrospect]), so maybe the two are correlated.

Right front pocket: iPhone
Left front pocket: wallet, any change
Key: Carabiner on right belt loop

Back pockets: empty.

I'm more concerned with the sore back having a wallet in my back pocket caused than the "dorky factor" of having a wallet in my left front pocket. Sitting on a wallet caused me severe pain in my back, doctor pointed it out years ago, having a wallet in either back pocket forces your hips to slightly turn one way or the other when sitting, mis-aligning your hips and spine, and with me it was JUST enough to be painful.

Getting one of these changed everything:

Right-front: Phone, loose change, immediate spending money (whatever I plan to spend in the near-future, IE bars and stuff so I don't have to keep taking my wallet out)
Left-front: Keys and usually nothing else. Some misc junk sometimes ends up there.
Back-right: Wallet, receipts.
Back-left: Nothing.....ever.

Unless it's the winter. If I have a jacket on, everything gets rearranged to free up my pants as much as possible.

Most of the time, I wear Boy Scout uniform pants, which have cargo pockets on the side of the leg.

Left front: phone
Right front: Two sets of car keys
Right hip belt loop: work keys (only at work)
Right cargo: wallet
Left cargo and both back pockets: empty.

If I wear pants with no cargo, the wallet goes in the back right.

Any time I get change, I drop it in my desk drawer.

But I always wear pants.

front left: keys, lighter, USB stick, multi-tool
front right: phone, pocketknife, change (sometimes)
back left: wallet (switched from back right to help with back problems and posture)
back right: any important papers, guitar pick (when i use my Music Man copy)

this changes on depending what i'm wearing and where i'm going. sometimes i have to put everything from the front left in the front right and use leg pockets for the rest of it (some old shorts have front left pockets torn up from my keys)
