A good, reliable car. Not necessarilly fancy.

Can't afford to cancel gigs on account of your car.

Make sure you have your basic gear, then make sure you have a reliable car that your gear fits into.

Everything else towards bass.

I truly don't care about having a "sweet ride." I've never been a car guy to begin with. Between the wife and I, we have a Honda Civic and a GMC pickup, both '90s vintage. Works for us.

My order of purchases over the next year:

1) Fender Jaguar (Just bought)
2) Like, a Gajillion carrots, all shapes and sizes, including an active deluxe carrot with BAII and a custom vintage tweed carrot case
3) More carrots
4) 2 Door Volkswagen Rabbit (Something to feed with my carrots, and in red to match my bass!)
5) '72 Telecaster Thinline w/ Orange Crush 30W amp
6) G&L ASAT Bass, Butterscotch Blonde

And the next few are somewhere in the hazy future...

Ampeg SVT Vintage Reissue Amp Head
Orange AD200B Amp Head with matching Cabs
Fender Custom Classic and American Vintage '75 Jazz Basses
Gibson Standard Les Paul, Heritage Cherry
and much much more.
