How do I stop getting email alerts?

Basically, what the title says. Every time I get an email alert, I change the settings to say I don't want to receive email alerts, but I keep getting them for every thread I've posted on. Please make it stop!

You should be able to go in your profile, click the alerts tab and deselect the email alert option.

It seems like I found it, but we'll see if it worked. It wasn't easy to find.

I thought I had it fixed, but I got another email. This is really annoying.
