How do you hold your pick?

I hold the pick between my thumb and index/middle finger. I also use a soft pick. A .46 Jim Dunlop. I think it's closer to a finger feel on the strings. I also use the larger rounder edge of the pick. That way you have two sides and it lasts longer. That said they wear out fast. I go through a pick a night.

And yes I play the bass upside down:D

Sometimes i hold it between the thumb and index+ring like rickys picture, sometimes i hold it between the thumb and the side of the index fingers first joint.
And the ridicolous thing about playing with the devil horns made me laugh good^^ I Cant believe people actually bother to play like that. But i guess it can be pretty funny :)

In me hand.

Seriously, I use a classical approach which involves holding the plectrum between my thumb and a curled index finger, with the other fingers of my left hand being curled in a relaxed fashion in a fist.

I'd like to point out that some guitarists use the same position as I, but they have the unused fingers pointing straight out, or they have a pinky anchored on the body of the guitar. All of these approaches can be used with much success. I just find the "fist" approach to be the most comfortable for me.

that devil horn thing is hilarious don't ever play like that cuz it probably sounds like crap haha :)

When I do play with a pick, I hold it between my thumb, my index, and middle fingers.

The devil horns thing is technically this, just the middle and ring finger instead of the index and middle. It's not difficult and it doesn't change your sound, it's just severely ********, like a troubled child on crack.

you should tell your drummer to hold his sticks like that, and your guitarist should be made to do it too. does the singer hold the mic with the stupid devil horns?

jeez, what next.

They all want to do it together for some goofy reason.

If I were you i'd extend them your middle finger...

Yup.

Yup.

Devils horns doesnt involve the thumb at all. I'd just hold the pick between my thumb and middle finger while stikcing out the index and pinky like a normal devil horn.
