How do you like bass rigs to look?

I saw Tony Levin perform with Peter Gabriel and it was the cleanest set up I have ever seen there was no amps, no cables, all wireless. For that type of show I thought it actually looked pretty cool and sounded incredible.
On the other hand I don't think a rig should ever be taller than the player!

too bad they didnt include the glowing NEMESIS on EN400/700. With this it would be best sounding amp out there!I used to be like that (somewhat) when I first began playing bass in high school. Now it's a little different.
15/18's have to be on the bottom, unless it's a combo amp. But don't stack a 1x15 combo on top of a 2x10 cab, it drives me insane. 4x10 on the bottom of a 1x15 combo? Maybe... depends on how ti looks.
If going with vintage gear, it all must match. Vintage Ampeg head goes with a vintage Ampeg cab. Fender, yada yada. Leave the old Peavey's at home. I know they can rock and sound awesome, but man I hate that pointy logo, grill, and silver side bars. Ugh, drives me INSANE!
Trashed gear? You better be playing punk or metal.
Single 8x10 with a rack on top? No thank you. To me it looks to gaudy and boring. Slap in another 8x10 and put that rack in the middle.
2x10's go on top of 1x15's. 4x10s and 1x15's I perfer they go side by side. If I'm playing a half stack, then the guitarist better be playing a half stack or a 2x12 combo on top of a 2x12 cab.
I do have to say that the matching Fender's are friggin' awesome! Looks like I'm stuck with Lake Placid Blue!
While I agree that the bigger the setup, the better it looks, I gotta say, the SOUND is what I'm more concerned with.

I personally want something other than black.... black is a little too anonymous. I would like green (but can't afford Green) or dark brown...

How is that GK combo for you? Thinking of picking one up to replace my Trace Elliot AH300SMC + Peavey 210. PM if necessary, if it keeps this thread on topic!
Aesthetics are important to me. I want something attractive that'll make me want to plug in and play in the 1st place and keep me playing for a longer period of time.
Ratty rigs better sound damn good because they sure don't inspire me to plug into them. My biggest turn off is heads being wider than the cabs...and that's common with the popularity of great sounding 1x12" cabs(and the like). Granted, mini heads are helping with that. If running multiple cabs, matching makes is important to me. However, using a different brand head turns me on. Other than that, I like rigs that show their owners care about how they look. Simply cleaning them well goes a long way with me. I rarely buy used, but once I bought a cab off a buddy. It had a rat fur cover, but the guy owned a cat and it was quite obvious. I spent a whole evening cleaning that rat fur, but by the time I was done, the thing looked like new...display model new...but like new nonetheless.
Anymore, I can't imagine not buying and using a simple slip cover for any of my cabs.
Blue lights are preferred, obviously.

I tend to prefer the look of an actual "head" unit, and since I don't run any rack gear, I mounted my 3-Pros in CL housings. Eventually I'd like to put them in a rack and use them for smaller gigs or fill in dates, and then for my big dumb rock show gigs - replace them with actual tube SVT's.

I like stacked cabs to be the same width, and the head/rack to be the same (if not narrower) than the cabs on which they rest. Really not a fan of mixing brands. I like uniformity and whatnot.
Uniform & matched...mine:

I would want one to look like it could be plugged in and destroy a guitards rig. I think i'll be happy even if i just had to play a low B to destroy the thing! ;D

I like White Tolex, NOT Ratfur, and not rackmount.
I play bass... i dont need all sorts of fancy smanshchy effects and doodads.
But maybe some tube amp distortion. NOT From a little effects pedal. If i want it, i better be bringing a tube guitar head and 1x12 along with me.
and I like to have my controls to a decent level i.e. I dont have to SIT DOWN while playing bass to adjust the volume.

Head and cabs matching. When I use my rack for big rooms (housing: wireless, sansamp rbi, compressor, power conditioner, back up head and utility drawer), I push it behind my Ampeg SVT-CL and 8-10E where it can't be seen from the audience.
