Prime rib??I only put that one there for a size reference. That's my beer fridge. You should have seen it the prior weekend, before the party. It stays pretty well stocked. That was a 17# ribeye.
I used to know this Columbian girl....ooof....she was something. Anyway, she used to snack on this seasoned raw ground beef that her grandmother made. Like it was popcorn. She was a little crazy but....ooof. I should call her.
That is called "Steak Tartare". I made the mistake of ordering it once while I was in Turkey; worst meal I ever ordered.I used to know this Columbian girl....ooof....she was something. This wasn’t steak tartare. I love steak tartare. The grandmother did something to the meat to dry it out a bit but it was still raw. Maybe it was smoked a little. I don’t know. That is called "Steak Tartare". I made the mistake of ordering it once while I was in Turkey; worst meal I ever ordered.
I could text her if she’s kept that number for 15 years, which is possible. We’ll see. What are you waiting for?

I do prefer the taste of meat that is thoroughly cooked, though there's some cringe factor for me in eating under cooked meat when considering possible bacteria.
That’s just good science right there. Best to have two or three to be sure.Enjoy a good whiskey with your steak and the bacteria problem becomes a non-issue.![]()
