How do you like your steak cooked?

There are three temperatures:
Rare
Medium Rare
Ruined

Medium rare for me.

Generally medium, but depends on the cut. Flank, flatiron, and tenerloin are meant to be cooked rare or at the most medium rare.

All I know is the majority of the time I ask for a specific way it always ends up landing in the next stage of “done” by the time it hits my plate. So I usually order rare to get medium rare basically.

I voted for medium rare, but rare is good too. I just get my grill as hot as it will get and get a good char on both sides. Perfect for me.

I only put that one there for a size reference. That's my beer fridge. You should have seen it the prior weekend, before the party. It stays pretty well stocked. That was a 17# ribeye.

My preference is medium leaning towards medium rare. But seeing as how restaurants are being extra cautious these days when cooking meat, I ask for medium rare and usually get what I want.

Grilled some skirt steak on Tuesday. Added some mesquite chips to the grill. Came out just how I like it with some red and/or pink in the middle.
