black! black! black! black! numberrr waoaoun!

Nah, my main squeeze for jamming or occasional gigs is the Fallout and it’s tuned to E.

For recording quick ideas I have one of my guitars and my Precision tuned up to G and it’s almost always going through an octave just to expedite things.

I tune to the so called tuning of mediocrity according to many enlightened ones round here, good old EADG. I find it funny how much ego bloat an extra string can give you, I have to wonder how much that arrogance would grow if they stepped up to the big leagues and got their hands on one of these....

This could positively not be more untrue.

Untrue in every way.

I would maybe say you are suffering from self-imposed inadequacy issues.

But I don’t believe that, although I remain curious about the motivations for such untrue assertions.

Anyway…play what you prefer, yada, yada,

And Merry Christmas, if that’s the way you celebrate this time of year….:D

BEADG, but I will drop the B to an A if the song calls for it. There's something nice about being able to play the lowest key on a default piano
Oh, man! Get yerself a Hipshot Xtender! I have them on all my basses, co-incidentally 5-strings! Love it!

I don’t use it often, more like an effect for the appropriate time. But on a good PA with proper subs, it’s an awesome sound! I do mention to the sound guys (when we can’t take ours) that a low A might come their way.

Of all places, the church guys love it! Again, it has to used appropriately. And not for entertainment’s sake.
