How do you use delay?

I just got to try a delay w/ photo eye expression. Full light allowed infinite repeats, no light allowed no repeats. Amazing feedback!!! Super cool delay effect!

I don't use delay. Just a bit of compression and some distortion (here and there).

My pedalboard for my cover band is down to just a DD-6 set on 'warp' for noise swells. Works especially well as I'm using an AGB so I get some pretty sweet feedback with it.

Otherwise, the solo board has 4 delays on it (DD-6, DMM, PS-3, Korg KP3), so 'awesomely'.

I have never had call to use delay on bass and I've played 80's metal, classic rock, top 40, country, blues...

depends on what style of music I'm playing. In rock stuff, I use it very rarely as either a slapback echo or spacey-trippy noises while playing prog rock. it never gets used in my hardcore/post punk stuff, and for my ambient/noise stuff, it gets used almost constantly.

I don't use it, but I'm considering trying it on upright to make it sound like I'm slapping a lot more than I am.

You can also use it to sound more orchestral when bowing.

I like cranking my delay up and doing harmonized runs. Sounds pretty nifty
