probably miles and miles…
About 1/2 mile. Best part is we can't smell 'em.![]()
Not too terribly far, considering this place has the nickname of Cowtown. But not too terribly close, either. A few miles, probably.
Neighbors had two not long ago, now a quarter of one is in the garage freezer.
I drive by many just hanging out any time I leave the house, plus a few dairy farms around also.
Lamas and Alpacas are also very plentiful.
Wish there were more pigs.
Someone recently was giving away two and asked if we wanted them but I did not want to build another home for them at night, so declined.
The Wife told me I should have taken them, they can sleep in the living room.
They were already rehomed then...

Arlington is a suburb between two large cities. Still, if I'm up early in the morning I hear roosters crowing, and sometimes encounter horse poop on the sidewalk when I'm out for a stroll.![]()
