How I got ripped off by Monolith Loudspeakers

Trolling has no purpose but for the troll. I'm merely pointing out the absurdity of the people defending Monolith as vehemently as they are. I mean, give your opinions but to get upset other people are coming down hard him? Do What?

"Court of public opinion"? My ***. This dude has a TB account. He's being called. He's being emailed. He HAS his chance to give his account. And as others have said, him coming out and being open would go a LONG way to swaying people back into his favor. There's is no good reason to be avoiding everything.

Nah dude I'm with ya, however at this point trolling = breaking TB rules / pissing off mods which personal attacks fall under, so while you can disagree with someone's opinion, its easy to get heated and take it too far, just sayin I think you're kinda close to it. And I hate to see yinz fight!

My biggest surprise was that, like you said, he is a TB member and used to be pretty active (sure was when he was first taking orders!) and now he's gone, which I am gonna bet is deliberate.

And just to re-iterate, I think that sucks. I wish Monolith would've developed themselves as a name for quality in the boutique world, cuz their product line is really sweet.

It looks bad, eyeball. REAL bad. To the point to where there's no longer need for direct experience. Like, had he come out and said something in the beginning....maybe...but this looks bad. All signs DO point to **** job. I mean, go look at the Dr threads, it's littered with a few random people just like you who DID talk to them and got their stuff. Same sob story, same everything. Yeah, we'll have to wait and see how it shakes out....but if a footbal team is 13-0, people can start to talk about the old timer 'fins. The comparisons can be made.

In other news, let him know I can handle his PR for $150 a month. Sounds like he needs a good PR guy. I'll have to take my money up front, though.


Just to point out. Brian from ss/bs had a build going on. I wanted in on it. He had to go on tour and couldn't get to the build until after he got back. I had the money chilling in my paypal and told him that I would prepay anyways, so the money didn't disappear elsewhere (you guys know what I mean). Brian REFUSED to take my money. Said he didn't want it until the build was done. Awesome guy.

Why does he need a defense from others? Why not chime in? Surely he's read this. I had really considered ordering something before all of this. I have nothing to gain from any of this except piece of mind. I am a potential customer, which is just as important as a customer that has already paid.

Word of mouth means everything in the boutique world.

I will speak my peace and then leave this alone. As all of you may know, MONOLITH was having some troubles over the past 6 months, I on a personal level as well as manufacturing issues as well. There have been a chain of events that have caused these things to happen which the details are not necessary to get into. I will say this much, I am no thief and I am trying to do the best I can to keep my word with you all. None of you deserve to be taken for a ride and this was never my intention. You all trusted in me and my company and now you are waiting and waiting. This is, I am sure, very frustrating and confusing. I am currently busting my ass trying to turn all of this around for everyone involved.

I am human, I have made mistakes and now it my responsibility to make all of it right. Following the mess over the fall I have had some major life changes and am continuing to deal with them as they come. Regarding orders or anything of the like, I will make this right and its my only intention. I am not going to sit here and defend myself against accusations because I know what needs to be done. That is all I want to do is make this right. It's sad to think this business has fallen apart because much of my personal ****, but it is a fate I face and everyone else suffers, this isn't ok on any level. My apologies are not going to fix this, only my getting the **** done. That is what I am doing. I give you all you all my word and please do not jokingly send us email requesting outlandish amounts of gear when you know this is not possible until we make things right. I am doing my best and this is all I have to say. Drag my name in dirt as much as you need to, I am not a bad dude I have just been having a really hard time this year and the business has suffered as a result. For this, I am so sorry everyone. I will make this right. I'm signing off and getting back to what needs to get done.
