How it's made: Microtubes B3K (Video)

love your music taste.

also, I want that pedal. bad. =_=

Thanks mate! AAL is the best! Their label was amazingly helpful and kind when I asked them permission for using the song in the video... lot's of respect for Prosthetic Records (and they also sign pretty bad ass bands!)

Should've had the music include the Microtubes against a simple drum-n-bass line with the bass line getting more and more effected by the Microtubes as the build progressed.

Holy crap, that's a brilliant idea! I'll keep it in mind for the next one! Thanks!

I would have burnt myself 500 times at that speed ;)

LOL! Soldering at super human speed takes loads of practice! hehe

Thanks everyone for commenting and watching, I hope you enjoyed the video!

Regards

Doug.

Great video Douglas.

My B3K is the perfect overdrive for me and watching the vid just makes me appreciate it that much more. Thanks for such a well designed and well built pedal and keep up the good work.

awesome video. Always interesting to see how stuff gets made and how much work such a small pedal build is!

Glad I'm just a bass player!

I'm in shock. All that soldering would have taken me like 4-5 hours!

Well, I guess it use to take me something like that when I just started building pedals... give it time ;).

Awesome video! Not a moment of life wasted.

Thanks mate! I try to make every instant count hehe.

Cheers! -Doug.

Videos like this make me very nostalgic. I loved the pick n' place machine I worked with back in the early 90s, and watching boards go through the solder bath. Amazing. Working with such a dense component count is no small job.

Thanks for your words! It is hard work actually... but a lot of fun anyways!

Thanks for commenting!

Cheers!
