I use Chromacast because they're among the most affordable and reliable. I usually have a ten footer between my amp and effects, and between 10 and 20 feet between my effects and bass depending on the stage.

I play mostly passive basses, and have no problems with my 20' cables. They are long enough that I can move around on stage and not look like a statue planted in one spot.
