Double Bass how long to re-hydrate?

I have a hybrid bass that's been in a fairly dry environment for about 3 months (16-25% humidity). I can tell the top has shrunk a bit, since the string action is lower and I'm hearing buzz I haven't heard before. Over the past months, I've raised the strings using the adjustable bridge, but 2 weeks later I get buzz again. So now I've taken the bass to a more humid environment (consistently 50%). How long until it will be properly rehydrated? A day or two? A week or two? A month or two? What scale are we talking about? Does anyone have experience with something like this?
