*But, At least practically all of them are absolutely fantastic!! The Eden, GK, And SWR are the best bass amps ever designed IMHO..

My beat to hell, toured, dropped off van into into 4 lane highway traffic.. That’s literally rusting, Eden WT-800 Head & 410 XST Cab (that weighs about 1,000 pounds).. Remains my #1 amplifier and with fresh Electrolytics & 12ax7’s every decade continues on and works flawlessl!!!

I LOVE my cute SWR headlite & ReadHead 210 combo amp.. The Redhead and especially the Headlite doesn’t have the power of the fancy new amps. But sonically, every bit as good as the big $$ micro-mid size boutique heads like; GRBass, Bergantino, PJB, EiCH, MarkBass, usual 1k6+ dollar suspects.
I let go of my GK MB200 iPhone sized practice/rehearsal amp w/matching Neodymium's 2x10” cab and regret it. Wanting to maybe put the dough towards a build request down payment on an Fbass Bn-4…

REALIZATION-ALL the amps I just gushed about GK, Eden & SWR, all at least 20 yrs out of production and out of business!!!

I have a GK 400RB, a Mesa Walkabout and two Yamaha BBT 500H. The Yamahas do 2 ohms and I bought one just last week for $179.

Are you Bi-Amping the Yamahas? I love mine, and missed out on getting a second one last year. Still on the hunt for a second one if it's a worthy upgrade.

Recently picked up the Elf , had wanted one for a while simply because so many raved about them , and then found a deal I couldn’t pass on a Darkglass Microtubes 200. And what a beauty that little thing is. So here’s the new group shot. My main gig amp is the Forte , I usually run a Monique tube pre with it. Beautiful combination. Main practice head is the Darkglass e500. I’ll probably be using the new M200 for rehearsals. The StreamLiner was reconditioned by agedhorse , it’s like a brand new amp.
