My current amps don’t run down to 2 ohms BUT with the Shuttlemax 12.0, I can run 2, 4ohm loads at once, or I can run 1@ 4ohms and 1@ 8ohms, at the same time.

I gotta admit , I've had a lot of amps over my 54 years as a bassist . I wish I had most( not all) of them back. As for what I have now, I wanted a valve amp but I got a wonky back so weight was an issue. I've been very happy with a Traynor YBA100 tube . A great and not too heavy tube head. I also have a class D Traynor sb500. I waited 6 months for this amp. It's very nice.I run an MXR 10 band EQ into it because the flat settings on it are perfect for that and pedals.A Mesa WD800 is the king , one of the best bass amplifiers I have ever owned. But ...man, I wish I still had some of the amps I was lucky enough to play through.

Traynor YBA-100, all-tube... new and quickly becoming my favourite. Same tone as the next one, but much lighter.
Traynor YBA-300. all-tube... The king, but it's heavy. I also can't get the output tube drive I like without vibrating my house off the foundation.
Traynor SB-500H. Solid-state and portable. I used it a fair bit for a year before getting the YBA-300, and kept it as a backup (but haven't needed it).
Then for combos I have my old Line 6 15W, 8" practice amp, and the battery-powered Traynor TVM15 (which I still use for camp fires and so on).

Well, since nearly everyone made a list, I figured I'd try to rack my brain and list what I can recall off the top of my head:

You got some serious rarities in that collection!!!! Why multiples? The VB-3, VB-MA, Strategy, and Prodigy would sell in a heartbeat on the open market!

I completely get it how a collectors brain works.
It's great to be a custodian of the rare amps. I also know that someday they will need to be passed on to the next custodians who will appreciate them as much as you! That's the trick and the hardest part!
You are exactly correct! And they are all as-new condition...I have been made fun of endlessly on gigs for the lengths I go to keep my gear mint haha!!!
I'm a pseudo expert on all things Peavey. I'm friends with a few of the long time engineers at and from Peavey. Those VB amps are some interesting tech. Hard to service but doable.

That's the spirit! As for the "pros", they're small and don't take up much room and variety is fun, other than the cost, I'm still searching for something else to put in the "con" column myself...haven't found anything yet...obviously!
