EBMM Stingray 5, Ball Family Reserve w/Roasted Birdseye maple neck. Sick low end on this one. It actually gets a little mushy in the mix because I am fighting with the keyboard when I use this.

Sterling Ray35, bar bass. Get's the job done in fine form, I actually think it played better and is more comfortable than my SLO. I use a Sansamp DI with this one to iron out the midrange a bit. Found it used for $475

1998 Rickenbacker 4003 Jetglo. When I want to sound like Lemmy or
Roger Glover (which is most of the time) I get nasty with this one. Found this one for $525.

I never have to win the lottery with all the luck I have had scoring wonderful instruments for cheep.

About to add a [DEL]Squier Matt Freeman Precision Bass[/DEL] to this list.

I changed my mind about the Matt Freeman, because I already had a P bass I didn't play, and the store graciously allowed me to change my order to an Epiphone EB-3. And just over the last few days I've sold the Fender because, as I said, it doesn't get played.

While I can't re-vote, my list is down to five basses, one of which is living with my parents-in-law because I don't have room, and one of which is actually a double bass. I might be selling off another bass, but I'm not sure yet - the acoustic or the fretless. Both are useful to own, but not entirely necessary for me right now.

Currently? Just two (sadly). I used to have two more Stingrays and a Jazz Plus V, for a total of five basses, but I'm down to the only two I wouldn't sell unless my life depended on it, or I somehow acquired exact replacements for them, only better. Like, if my Stingray had a quartersawn neck and body and was transparent violet, or my Warwick had piezo and a 720mm scale instead of a 30" scale.

I'm thinking about adding a Jazz style bass. I'm down to three that I'm mulling over...A Lakland DJ-4, a Carvin SB4000, or a Fender American Special Jazz Bass. Any thoughts on which one I should go for?
