If guitars count, I also have a Fender Strat Plus, Gibson Les Paul Studio, and an old Washburn acoustic.

It's more than I need and probably more than I deserve but they all get rotated and played as I can. I don't take fancy vacations, I don't have a Harley, a boat, or a flashy car. For whatever the reason, its these instuments that "do it" for me...Life is short and I work hard and that's my story and im sticking to it.

Three and I'm TRYING to stay at that number. Hanging on TalkBass doesn't make it easy sometimes and you KNOW what I mean. All are fretted. Five-string mono-scale - Kinal MK-21. Five-string multi-scale - Dingwall AB-1 (I'll probably let it go when my Z-1 is in hand). Four-string - Skyline Hollowbody. I don't trade much, but the hollowbody is actually incoming and my fretless P-jazz is about to take a trip on the brown truck...

The 'three limit' didn't last. Since I posted this: I comissioned, played for a couple of years, and sold a LeCompte CB-SC-4. The Kinal, Skyline Hollowbody, and fretless jazz were sold and the Z-1 morphed into a Super P/J-4. Added to the stable: a Dark Star equipped Tribute JB-2, a 4003, a Lollar equipped Squier CV 60's precision, a Lollar equipped CV 50's precision, and a '63 Thunderbucker equipped Squier Jaguar. I've always heard that seven is a good number...

haha, nah my inadequacies are purely based on the amount of basses i want but don't have . i have a Bassmods 2-band in the OLP and it's capable, but it just ain't a P, ya know what i'm sayin?

I may be bad with 19, but I can justify it by the large number of SX basses and the fact there is no Ritter on the list!

I know ....I would love to have a couple of different ABG's, The one I do own kicks major ass though. An AB20 from Washburn. Low action, extremely fast! Awesome!

Well, my MIA Jazz, my MIJ Aerodyne Jazz and the mad-bastard Squier VM Jazz Fretless with the crazy paint job. I've been fighting the GAS on a 5er of late and appear to have the upper hand. But this won't last.

The Fender is my main bass, I use it for everything. A friend of mine's bass broke so I let him borrow my Affinity. If I had it I wouldn't be playing it much, but I do miss it now and then since it was my first bass.
