How many basses is too many????

I learned awhile ago that it's not about the number, it's about how many you play. If they're stacked untouched in a corner or in a closet it's time to let someone else enjoy them.

Hey wait a minute! What about a 4 string fretless, a 6 string fretless or a 5 string fretted? OR maybe an 8 string just for fun?

You obviously haven't thought about this enough!

(Speaking of 5 string fretted... Saw a killer used G&L L-2500 at GC yesterday for $899 and was sorely tempted to "upgrade" my Tribute! GAS Arrrgghh!)
