How many envelope filters is enough?

I don't have a way to produce sound clips. The mail bomb is sweet. I don't even know how to describe how it sounds. It's very brutal for lack of a better word sounding than anything else I have or have played.

If anyone is local u r more than welcome to come try anything I have.

I have a Moog LPF and a GR2 on my board right now. Both are awesome, but for slightly different reasons.

I've kept my original MailBomb for that very reason- nothing else sounds remotely like it. Brutal is a good descriptor. However, the MXR BEF is on the board for good now.

What r the three knobs on the original mail bomb. I am curious what the fourth one is on mine.

I have peak, decay, depth and attack

The original Mail Bomb has Attack, Filter (which I assume is the same as peak, Q, resonance), and Depth knobs. The new knob is Decay, which is a great thing to have on an envelope filter, IMO. The new Mail Bomb seems to be one of those overlooked filters; I'm anxious to give it a try!

I have 3 at the moment. EHX Bassballs, EHX Micro Qtron and Digitech Bass synth wah that I just bought again for the 3rd time!!! hahaha
