How many pedals on your board?

Not sure how to count this.
There's only one pedal that actually makes noise, but it's a multi-FX. My bass signal also passes through a tuner and a loop switcher, so those are technically pedals, maybe? And then there's a MIDI controller, an aux switch and an expression pedal. Are those pedals too? Then there's a patchbay under the board that the audio signal passes through, but it doesn't have a footswitch. That's probably not a pedal.
Actual number of pedals: Somewhere between 1 and 7
Actual number of switches and things that I can step on: 10
Actual number of available effects: Hundreds

I answered 6-10 and 15+. Physically there are 8 pedals plus one expression pedal. But since one of those pedals is a HX Stomp there are way more effects on the board I actually use. Redoing my pedalboard was actually one of my lockdown activities!

Two boards but using the 3rd string leftovers since Sept. because it turns out they are "better" for tone-shaping in that they include a Grizzly, a Milk Box (antique) and a Vox Flat 4 boost tube preamp (which I got for under $100 used at GC). They will have to be incorporated into the New large board of course (except the milkbox because it Is noisy in a long line), but does the VTbass go back in a box?
When people here say "Ive finally finished my effect board" it's amusing. They mean "that" effect board, because there willl be others (until there aren't I suppose)

Currently this many:
- a dozen that distinctly alter the bass' sounds when going thru them, +
- 6 utility types not counting the power supply underneath.

Good thing is that my small board is actually pretty small considering it has 7 pedals on it. Actually, one of the effects is an always-on one, so it's not technically a pedal.I was thinking of getting a Talent Booster, but Practice Accelerator is what I really need I guess.

Expression and volume pedals have the word "pedal" in them, so they are technically pedals. What about always on FX w/ out a switch? I call them effects.
I have a 5-pedal board and a 3-pedal board. I only take 3 pedals out with me to play in public (if that).
It's usually one of my two compressors and then two other pedals, based on what I expect to be playing.
Over the last year, I've been hooking everything up a lot more often for goofing off at home.

0. Assume the turner doesn’t count.
In the past 1: EBS Multicomp, but since the amplifieres and basses are giving leveled response I don’t use it anymore.

I fell through the cracks in the poll’s phrasing. There was no option for “I don’t have a board”
(Currently boardless; my one pedal sits on top of my amp, and I transport it in a little laptop computer bag.)
or the related “I carry __ pedals loose in a backpack and dump them out onstage.”
(Not too far from the truth in the pre-pedal-craze 90s. It worked out okay; I had a Rat and a couple of DODs. The coiled cables in the backpack cushioned them pretty well. Those LM308s were well protected by the Rat housing...)
