I was just noticing the floorboard of my truck is starting to pile up with trash again. I try to keep it clean, but I work out of my vehicle for most of the day, so food wrappers and empty soda bottles tend to accumulate. I keep a plastic grocery bag in the driver door pocket to use as a trash receptacle for smaller stuff.

Almost the whole backseat part of my truck is full of tools. The seat behind me is folded up so I can put my tool bag, drill and extension cords on the floor, so I only have capacity for one person back there if I ever had to carpool.

I didn't spend a lot of money on any of my 2 cars but i am extremely OCD about them, i wash them on a regular basis, dont leave anything inside, get annoyed if people move the vents ( i like them aligned in a special way!), move the seats (they HAVE to be aligned to), touch the windows or do anything that i wouldn't do inside them!

Also i have NEVER used any of the ashtrays, they are completely virgin!

Yeah, I'm in the same boat... er, vehicle... er... well... mine's a car, not a truck. You get the idea.

My car is very clean inside. I can't stand junk all over the place. Being in the auto repair industry I get to see it all.... from OCD clean to the biggest pig sty you can imagine.

One thing I've learned in the nearly 30 years I've been doing this is you can tell alot about a woman's personal hygiene habits from what the inside of her car looks like. Dirty car, dirty......., well, you get the idea.

No garbage or junk in my truck or the wifes ride. Items in my truck like shades, charger, remote control, etc have a pocket or space to be stored. I got that from my pop. He drove semi truck and kept his spotless in and out.

It was in the 20's here the other day and I was outside vacuuming my truck and wiping down the seats and dash. Then I went to the car wash and cleaned up the outside.

This is what my backseat area looks like.

Thinking of investing in a toolbox.....:o

This describes me and my car perfectly. My OCD knows no bounds. I despise people touching the vents in my car and moving them around. Especially when I don't even have the air on.

The worst for me are people who try to clean condensation on the inside of the windows with their sleeves or something!
Just wait for the damn thing to unfog on its own and dont leave smudges on my windows!

When i was younger some mates used to brake in my car (the lock was crap and could be opened with any key) and move all the seats, vents, etc! it would drive me mad!
Retaliations kept escalating until i poured a huge bin bag of confeti through my friends sunroof, his revenge was to put rubber bands around deodorant sprays to keep them spraying and putting them in my car!
Smelled horrible for weeks!

After that we decided it was time for a truce!
