How much crap travels around with you?

I practically live out of my car being a commuter student. So I keep some extra clothes, books, paper, pencils, water bottles, hats, work out clothes, and flip flops in the back of my pathfinder! But I NEVER, and I cannot stress NEVER enough here, leave any food in my car under any circumstances. And I febreze the hell out of my car at least once a week. Kind of an "organized, clean crap heap" kind of deal :D

I don't leave trash in the car, and I don't leave cargo loose inside my car. Corners are where all the fun is - and I don't want anything moving around when I hit corners. When I get home at the end of the day, everything I put in the car comes out (other than tools secured in storage bins).

I'm not as good about washing my older car (1983 280ZX Turbo) because it needs to be hand washed...but I try to keep up with it.

I didn't spend a lot of money on any of my 2 cars but i am extremely OCD about them, i wash them on a regular basis, dont leave anything inside, get annoyed if people move the vents ( i like them aligned in a special way!), move the seats (they HAVE to be aligned to), touch the windows or do anything that i wouldn't do inside them!

Also i have NEVER used any of the ashtrays, they are completely virgin!

Are you me? I've been asked if I actually drive my cars because both have spotless interiors. Ashtrays are for parking meter change, I like the vents and seats aligned a certain way, and I get really cranky when my friends with ADHD get fidgety and their hands go right to the vents.

I bought my Mazda RX-8 sight unseen from a friend of my parents. The owner insisted that he had kept the car neat as a pin and never ate in it. The interior looked pretty good, but when I started poking around, I found a petrified Nestle Crunch bar under the driver's seat. When I told him about that, he was mortified and told me that Crunch bars were his guilty pleasure, then we had a good laugh over it. I even sent him a new bar when I mailed him back the license plate.

Our driveway is dirt and basically the drain for 4 acres of hillside and this is our rainy season, so washing the trucks is a waste of time. In the summer we wash them up and they stay that way for a while, but this time of year...forget it.

Generally full of all sorts of crap. I drive a van, currently it still has my drums in the back from over a week ago. Fast food packaging (normally all in one rubbish bag though) and empty bottles all over the floor. The back seat is covered in jumper cables and a spare battery, several articles of clothing, my one pair of shoes, half a carton of cider, rope and straps to tie stuff on the roof and all sorts of other junk.

I have a "Console" which is actually a cardboard box inbetween the two front seats. Its full of CDs, cables, empty packaging and a pair of pants.

Although there are a couple of months over summer where I need to use it to transport customers for work, so I keep it clean over that period.
