How much can I push?

Ok, so I have a Hartke LH1000 and an Ampeg SVT-410HE, and I was wondering..


Ok, well, as some of you may know, the LH1000 runs 750w into 8 ohms bridged, and my Ampeg is 500w RMS.

So.. How much could I push into this cab? I currently play at about 11 o'clock, and I don't really need to go much louder, but if I need to, I'm just wondering what I could do before the cab went bye-bye.

Off topic but how do you rate the 410he both for sound and for loudness ? Do you find it cuts through ok and is good as a stand alone cab?

The speakers will begin to fart out before they burn out. When you hear the distortion, back off the volume.

As for the position of the volume knob, it means very little with respect to output power.
