How much do you TRUST your favorite bass guitar manufacturer?

i fancy peavey basses i started with a foundation four string sturdy really comfy neck smooth sound, well flat wounds have that, i like their cirrus models accept for the really cheap knobs they hav on em , their amps are good in my experience too, fender basses are nice quality instruments most of the time but i dislike the necks and the tone isintalways what i want if i want tone ill get some flat wounds and an alluminum cone speaker, so peavey is the brand im behind with an upgrade or two im too picky to find the perfect instrument right off the back, i dislike bc riches thought cept for their zombie exotic five string that was pretty sweet
