LOL, before I read the comments, I was having trouble figuring out what the OP was trying to ask. The choice of words make the question very unclear. I read it to my wife several times, we came to the conclusion that is was impossible to answer as there were too many ways to interpret it, and different answers for each interpretation.

Then I scrolled down and read the rest of the responses and felt relieved that I wasn't the only one.

"word salad" is a perfect description.

It depends on how you expect reality to satisfy your expectations. If it's purely about function, than little to none. Remember that basses are super easy to modify, and one should be able to achieve the sound and feel of any P bass desired with a few key mods. If aesthetics matters, than there's much more to worry about. I'm a big glutton for the shape of Fender headstocks, and I don't like the look of much else
