I run a 1100 watt amp. But, obviously its a headroom preference more than a necessity. I sorta wish I had a 1500 watt at times. Darn dueling guitarist.

If you are going to be playing Doom/Drone at the volume levels that the average Doom/Drone band plays at...that set up is not enough. Bottom line.

If it were 525 watts of TUBE power....ahhhhh then youd be in control (with some to spare).

Never got caught. At that ; } ...How 'bout doing Poe's Telltale Heart as a serious school play with narratory. During opening night, when it came time for me to deal the old guy out of the picture I whipped a big honkin' handbag out from behind my cape and BEAT THE BED-RIDDEN FOSSIL TO DEATH.

Laughter rolled down the aisles and up onto the stage like trained manna. The audience went crazy!

Later, so did the drama coach. But it was a different kind of crazy entirely. An enforced vacation. Like that's gonna take the fun[k] outta me ; }

The same rig, that from fifty feet away, coupled with a moderately sized -brooklyn masonic temple- house p.a. system, made my entire body vibrate.

If I'm not mistaken, (2)ampeg 8x10s. And what looked like an orange 412, which may have been added to even the guitar distribution. Matt Pike used four orange cabs on the other side.

BluesBear got it- BBE MaxCom, under a SansAmp RBI. Both units are pure genius. Nady U-33b wireless on top.
