Old enough to know why you shouldn't ask such questions, nor answer them.
But for the purposes of this poll I decided I'm a teenager as there's no carrots option nor reasoning for asking such a pointless question.

Looks like 30 - 69 is the core demographic here. I thought there'd be slightly more folks under that, but the board has clearly not leaned young from what I've seen over the years ... although I do remember a McCartney/Beatles bashing thread that seemed to have a lot posters not all that knowledgeable on that stuff, which had the flavor of younger members. (I mean, whatever one's opinion on those guys, it's impossible to ignore their influence if you lived through it

According to these polls that pop up every year or two, the majority of users here are over 50, followed by 40-49.
The poll results would have an observer believe that hardly anyone under the age of 39 plays bass, but I’m inclined to think that younger folks just don’t use message boards like this one, preferring to view social media (yuck) over message boards.
That being said, a friend of mine who owns two music schools recently told me that every year fewer kids and young adults enroll in guitar or other musical instrument lessons, while more and more are signing up for voice and/or music production classes.
Basically, it sounds like nearly every kid wants to either be a singer or a dj, while fewer and fewer want traditional music instruction.

I could move my fingers around pretty fast when I was 24 but I sucked too, just keep an open mind, listen to everything and play play play. (I still suck but not as much
